“A Day with a Sommelier” (sum-ul-YAY)  – Santa Barbara/Santa Ynez All- Inclusive Private Tour.   Only one private tour is offered daily with up to 6 guests.

Departs daily Ojai 9:30 and return between 4:30 and 5:30  

*Shorter tours are  available, however, we visit wineries in close proximity to one another or visit wineries and tasting rooms in downtown Santa Barbara.

This is a customized private tour tailored to your preferences and your host is WSET Certified Advanced (Level 3), Sommelier  Lisa Stoll.  With over 125 wineries in Santa Barbara it can be hard to choose. Let your Sommelier guide plan and  help you choose wineries that match your preferences and desired wine experience to share a lifetime of memories.. This educational wine tour features tastings three boutique and/or appointment only premium wineries.    

During the drive to wine country, your Sommelier host will give you the history of wine in California and Santa Barbara as well as point out places of interest along the way.  You will be able to sharpen your sense of smell with “Le Nez du Vin” wine essences and learn tidbits about wine appreciation.  You will go behind the scenes for a peek at the  winery production areas and walk through the vineyard on a viticulture tour.  An artisan sandwich lunch is served in a vineyard setting and cold bottled water is offered all day .Transportation is offered in an air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

This tour is includes tasting fees, artisan lunch and gratuity.

***With Advanced notice, we can include additional experiences like: meeting the winemaker, olive oil tastings, barrel samples,  ATV ride in the vineyard, gourmet cheese plates or chocolate pairing.
